Not sure if you guys aware but Coach Robinson (running backs coach) is no longer with the program (in fact, he has already been removed from the website which is an indication more of a fire than a legitimate resignation).

The reason given is due to family concerns but it has been long known by the players that he constantly and consistently made passes at the Co-eds on campus and this is said to be the reasons for his release. On the surface, not such an issue but considering he got married since his tenure with the program hardly worthy of gaining respect from the players. In fact, he often hit on players girlfriends. I realize this may be considered rumor (that is the reason for his release) but I have it from a very credible source this is the reason. Not sure what happened to ignite the “firing process” as this practice of his has been going on for years but he has been sending messages via social media in his attempt to connect with various co-eds for some time now. I’ve been knowing about this for a while and it has been one of my several reasons for the dismissal of this coaching staff as I’m sure the HC would have also known yet nothing to this point has ever been done about it. I didn't post about it b/c I didn't think it was appropriate but now that the cat is out of the bag, it's good for all of the background to come to light.

Bottom line, as a player you will not play hard for someone you don’t respect and that over rides any lack of talent!

I have been told some of the specifics about the incident that caused the "resignation" and it is directly related to his MO as described by Playerparent. Don't see any reason to add more fuel to the fire giving the limited details I was told. The guy obviously has a serious problem and let's hope he gets the help he needs to straighten his life out. I feel bad for his wife and young child.

Not sorry to see him gone though. Given his history and the lack of respect his players had for him it is too bad it took this long to get rid of him. Unfortunately, it is just one small tumor. Things won't change until the main problem is removed and we all know what that is.

Doesn't look good for Collins though. The next questions that are going to be ask is, if he knew about it? Why didn't he do anything about it?
