Although it's sad to see our offense's misfortune directly contribute to his gain, here are some fun facts about our punter, Tony Epperson.
Halfway through the season, he leads the nation (both FBS and FCS) with 2,415 punting yards, a whopping 469 more than the next-highest total.
He is only 604 yards away from setting the Weber State single-season record (3,018 by Curt Miller in 1981), and if he holds his current average of 402 per game, he will break that mark with four games to spare.
The national record is 4,138 yards. If he holds his current pace, he will not only break the national record, but he will smash it by 700 yards.
That's a lot of effing punting. :shocking:
