Opponents under 40 point

Last night was the first time in 26 years and fifth time in school history that we held an opponent under 40 points. I for one thought that 'Cats played some stellar defense and of course ISU couldn't even hit the side of the LOL-t arena.

What happened last night is what will need to happen for WSU to win the tournament. Not to hold anyone to that low of an output, but to play that kind of D.

The D was great...of course ISU helped make it look amazing with their poor offensive schemes. You could tell that O'Brien wanted his team to use their speed, but Rahe did a great job of using the Bungles speed against them. Also, J.Rich's defense on Ghilcrest was pretty dang solid. I was really impressed by our Freshmen last night. No they didn't have a lot of points but they played a really nice game in the paint.
