You purchase the flags through the rotary club at [email protected]. They are $25 for a resident and $50 for a business. They put them in your yard every home game and take them down the following day, like the Scouts do with the American flags for the holidays. I felt very proud and honored sporting my ISU flag in my yard. :thumb: GO BENGALS!!!

The flags are available through the Gate City Rotary Club of Pocatello. The first post in this thread tells you how to order the "flag-posting" service. The service costs $20 at a local residence for the final four home games and $40 for a business. We will "sell" flags to people who live outside the area for $30 each. The only flags being "sold" in the community are going to businesses that want to put them up inside their business permanently, like a sports bar. Those flags are being sold for somewhere between $75 and $100 by the Rotaract Club at ISU.
This entire project is a "service project" the Gate City Rotary launched for two reasons:

1) To help bring more support to Idaho State University, and show the school the community wants to show support...and

2) To raise money the Rotary Club will use for the many service projects it does and causes it supports.

We put out over 400 flags last weekend and enjoyed great success and support from the community. Unfortunately...a number of people couldn't find enough character to stop them from stealing flags. We are figuring we probably had about 40 flags stolen this past weekend...most of them business flags...which takes money directly out of our project funds.

To repeat...we are only selling flags to folks who live out of town. We will provide the flag-posting service for years to come within our community. Thanks to everyone supporting our efforts, and for those that steal flags...I hope they don't rot in hell. It's a shame to sell your soul for a flag...
