Oregon state game

That would be a big "Yes" for me! Unfortunately, my wife and family are OSU alumni/supporters, but I'll be wearing my Viking gear for the game! Go Viks!

Anyone planning on going to the oregon state game

I'm in. My brother lives in Corvallis and has season tickets to the Beavs so I'm going to the Vik game and also have an invitation to the Minnesota game the following week.

He's a Montana grad so I have to spring for the tickets to the Griz game, however.

Going to have to get up early. Be sure to set your alarm clocks...

Also, it mentions that the BYU game is going to be on ESPN(??) at noon. Wow!

Athletic department is selling a Tailgate Package that includes bus ride (with free booze and snacks), tailgate ticket hosted by the Alumni Association, and 100 level game tickets (typically at the corner of the endzone) ... can't remember how much but I think it might be around $125-$150

Going to be out of the country on the day of the Oregon State game but, if I were here, I would love to take advantage of this inclusive package tour. Get a nice inebriation prior to, during and recover after the game on the "other BarnyBus," so to speak. Nice to be with like-minded and good-hearted Vik fans.

$150 for a memory like that would be well worth it to me. ;) ;) ;)

Reser Stadium is a fine game venue.
Why not experience it live, up close and in-person? ;)
Haven't been there since the remodel. But it would be worth seeing.
The students won't be there yet in force. A good way to tour the campus and see the town ahead of them.

Upset at OLive for not putting the Beaver writeup in our section. :ohno:

Our Town, Our Team!

After our performance at BYU, and the Beavs showing at Colorado State, I am intrigued with this game. I don't think OSU is as good as BYU, therefore if we play similar and don't make too many mistakes, I think we'll have a chance in the 4th. Still, the Colorado State game could have the same effect for the Beavs as when we beat Wazzu in that Anderson now has the full attention of his players and they will want to make a statement against us. Shaping up to be pretty interesting.

Beaver fans blaming their meltdown in the 4th to playing in the heat at elevation. How many points did our defense give up playing in 94 degrees at 4500 ft elevation? I want to know so I can post it in big block letters across Beaver Nation. Oh, wait, I already did that.

The injury was to Garret Stauffer, #65. The ESPN announcers were referring to him as our center, but I believe Chad Bach is our center.
