After this game I think we will be 0 and 15. Fifteen straight losses! I didn't watch the Nevada game; but, I did watch the Mountain West highlights of it and we looked awful. Play after play, we simply couldn't keep up with Nevada's players. Our recruiting and coaching are both much worse than I imagined.

College of Idaho is playing a very good Southern Oregon team this coming weekend and at 0 and 2 now I expect when we play them in our out of town "home" opener they will be 0 and 3. That game will be our best chance this season for a win. If what I saw on the highlights holds, it will be our only win this season.

How many of the faithful do you think will be in the stands at Hillsboro when C of I shows up in the 'burbs to play the 0 and 15 Vikings? My guess, less 4 grand. I could be wrong here, because the "Yotes" actually have more season ticket holders than the University of Idaho; and, they may travel well.

My Frontier buddies (I still follow my alma mater, Rocky Mountain College, so I visit over there quite a bit) all said MT Tech whacked the Yotes pretty good last weekend, so we shouldn't have any trouble.

On the one hand Oregon tends to put in 2nd and 3rd units when the score gets high so that should help us. On the other hand they got hammered by media a bit from last game not scoring more which could hurt us. It will be ugly no matter how you cut it but 61-18 is my guess as we can score a bit late...
 
Well, my wife and I will also be heading south on Saturday, but maybe not quite as far as most traveling Viking fans. No, we will head down 99W to Monmouth (weather permitting) to watch Central Washington take on Western Oregon. It is a great venue with a great game day vibe. Go Vikings, go Wolves.

Real football is played at many levels. If our team was as well coached as Central Washington or Linfield you might say PSU/UO was "real football".
 
Well we might be the cupcake this weekend but here's to leaving Oregon a bit messy. Nice to get coverage outside the state. I'll be darned they say we are young this year and that the coach thinks we are one year away from being competitive...Really? :ohno:
