Here's a dose of coaching common sense:
The Beavers have been preparing for Wisconsin since Fall Camp started. Say what you want about taking it one game at a time, and no disrespect aimed at Sac St, but the Beavs have the luxury of working on plays this week that they are saving for the Badgers.
And as for preparation, I suggest to you that the Beavers face a tougher D every day at practice than they will on September 3rd. Again, no disrespect to Sac St, but the Beaver D is a big step up. I'm not concerned at all about what you call "rolling out a bunch of new plays." Good football teams do this ALL THE TIME. It's called good game planning.
