After being unjustly fired at Cal, Angus McClure has landed on his feet, signing with Nevada for the third time yesterday. He will be OL Coach and Run Game Coordinator.
 
Unjustly fired? Coaches get fired all the time…Bill and Angus have both been fired before and most likely it will happen again. Good to see he landed so quickly.

Yep, been telling you that for years. Glad it finally sunk in.
 
Sounds like Beau Baldwin is leaving Cal Poly to be the OC at Arizona State. Baldwin leaves a National Championship program as HC at Eastern gets pushed out of there, HC at Poly, wins 4 games in 3 years and now ASU.

Interesting move by Baldwin, just goes to show how harder it is to recruit when the requirements are more than a 2.0 and a pulse. He joins Idaho State's former HC who just bailed to be an assistant at ASU.

Seemed like a capable coach while on staff here. Took a nosedive while HC at Washington State.

This move comes across as a lazy hire...something we would have done in the pre-Nelsen/Orr era...


UNC hired Ed Lamb from BYU's staff to be HC. Solid hire.
