OT: Tough times in Missoula

Never thought I’d see this: times have become so tight at Montana they had to set up a “Go Fund Me” site to raise enough money to send their band to the annual Cat-Griz game in Bozeman. Shrinking enrollments have consequences.

From what I understand, their last president was fired because he wasn't able to get their enrollment figures up. Spring enrollment figures for 2017 were around 11,600, and the university is depending on having winning football teams, so that more students across the country would know about the university and eventually enroll there. But I don't think a lot of people realize how expensive college is and subsequently many decide to not attend college. At least for Idaho, in-state tuition is around $3700 per semester, and this doesn't include room and board. And out of state tuition hovers around $10,000 per semester.
