Outlook For Remainder of The Season

After a 2 and 1 start, and some false optimism by many people on this forum the Bears finally showed who they are this past weekend against SUU

This season is going down hill, and fast.. Time to get rid of the Cancer in Collins..

Weber State - Loss - 24 to 17

Sac State - Loss - 21 to 14

UC Davis - Possible win based on last year - If they lose 35 to 24 - If they win 14 to 10

Eastern Washington - Big Loss - 45 to 7 (Collins is fired)

NAU - Close Loss - 21 to 20 - Missed PAT costs the Bears

Portland State - Win - 14 to 7

North Dakota - Who is off to a hot start - Loss - 24 to 7

Abilene Christian - Win - 24 to 20

These are just guesses, no research done to guess these scores. But off of what the bears have done this year and last year I feel the Wins and losses are pretty accurate

BigBearFan76 is a hater. Haters gonna hate. It's what haters do. As for number1 and his comments directed towards me during the SUU game, remember last weekend when you lost your mortgage payment on the HBU game, you credibility was lost with it. Anyway, I'm optimistic and it pisses a lot of you haters off. Guess what? I don't care. I think the Bears are a much improved football team and will finish the season above .500. The SUU game was lost by turnovers. Turnovers are fixable. The thing I noticed was that our boys did not give up when they got down by multiple scores. The offense kept churning up yardage and the defense pretty much shut SUU down in the second half. Turnovers are fixable. Lack of effort and heart are not. Luckily this team shows great effort and heart. That's why I believe that they will finish above .500, just as I predicted before the season started. Get at me haters... :poke:

I was worried that Western was greatly improved when I saw what they did to your defense...then I saw them in person.

I made zero comments to you during the game and I was not the one betting my mortgage. Figure it out man.

How can you explain a near loss to western state? and beating HBU, great job.

Turnovers are one thing that won't be fixed, not when you have coaches putting players in the wrong place, players not knowing routes, and a quarterback who gets anstsy at any sort of pressure.

I hope the players can win some games because these coaches CANNOT get it done. fire collins, problem solved. Then maybe I will be right there with you Mccandyman - optimistic and having some faith in the team. The reason these players still have fire is because these coaches are going to be fired and when they are, they are playing for their jobs, they are showing a new staff what they can do.

I strongly disagree I believe the only win the rest of the season is against UC Davis. If we get lucky they will beat Weber state

I don't see him getting fired... I just don't see this AD as having the onions to do it. He seems like a marketing guy that got promoted... I don't even remember his name off the top of my head, is it Dunn?

The guy is seen less than the Lindberg baby.

I thought Collins has a .500 clause in his contract extension? That would mean at least 5 wins.

Doesn't matter, are they really going to fire him? This AD has been here for a couple years and hasn't fired anyone, has he done anything even? Oh, new uniforms... that's good for zero wins.

Good one! Coming from a person who argues as if he or anybody on his cherished coaching staff has any credibility. News flash sir you just got embarrassed for the second week in a row. Ill have my second mortgage PAID OFF before you or anybody on that staff earns any real credibility! You just don't get it do you, its not your fault to be honest - birds of a feather. My question is how long does it take before you can no longer say you're "building a program"?

My initial bet was the offense will not average more than 17 points a game. I know you're happy because you know Ill be able to buy my house back here in a couple months. Maybe Earnest Collins will let me stay with him for a couple months. His house will be open right when Im about to buy mine back.
