It is unbelievable the increase of assistant salaries in the Pac 10. The salary of a Big Sky coach wouldn't even touch an OC or DC salary.

I've said it before but the salaries for assistants at PSU are pathetic. Some are only making $20,000 for crying out loud and now word comes that they will have their salaries cut for next season.

Fortunately, Glanville is doing the right thing and wants to use some of his salary for the assistants.

The school has to show a better commitment to the football program in order for it to be successful.

Glanville should be. If he's overpaid, and everyone else on the staff is underpaid, that seems fair. After all, the salaries all over PSU are dropping, not to mention the forced furloughs and laid-off adjuncts.

Glad you made the point about adjuncts. Football players are going to have fewer classes to chose from.
