The interim AD has stated that demolition of the PCAT and construction of the new student rec center is a key step in building a new arena on the site of the Stott Center. This article does not address the arena issue directly, but it is good to hear that things are progressing. Even without the arena implications, this is a great sign of progress for PSU as a university.
