Yes we need to improve on defense and a couple of new coaching hires are good moves on offense but the number of penalties cost us a couple of games. What changes this?
 
A lot of those penalties were offsides and PI, where our defense was trying anything they could not to get beat. Of course, it never worked and our defense routinely got pulverized. Simply getting better will aleve a lot of this.

Holding and procedural penalties just happen sometimes.

I dont mind some penalties, but you are right, some of those penalties cost us.

I like the aggressive penalties, setting a tone, but the other crap that we've seen needs to be fixed. As someone pointed out, a lot of it is discipline.
 
I'm with you some penalties are unavoidable and good in the sense that we are playing aggressively but to have 50% more than our opponents season total is overboard.
