• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Phil Steele FCS Preview Mag

This year Mr. Steele is devoting an entire magazine to the FCS. Each team will have one page to themselves. Guys over at AGS.Com are saying the mag will be ready to be purchased in the next couple days at philsteele.com, just click on store. I like how this guy who is a nationally recognized football journalist is taking FCS seriously and UNC will have an entire page. Here are the links to more info:

This is a nice upgrade, but he also has history behind his FCS coverage. Phil's done a 1/2 page on each FCS team for the past few years. I think he placed that in the Pac-10 issue last year, IIRC...

Troy - is the conference doing a preseason meeting like they usually do in Park City? Wasn't last year cancelled due to the economy?

No, there'll be no meeting this year. Given the added economy issues--read: adding teams/travel locales--there hasn't even been a mention...

in my opinion, that's exactly why we shouldn't have added Cal-Poly, UC Davis, ND. The league show now be called the Bloated Sky. Dumb Fullerton.

12 is a fine number 13 is the problem. If MU had the onions to move up like they should have it would be fine. :o I'm kidding, but 13 is not ideal, however, you have to also consider the context the expansion was made. Although it wasn't that long ago don't forget there was a lot of concern 3 or 4 Big Sky teams would go to the WAC and kill the conference, so this move was insurance against that and still serves as such. Also, easier scheduling.
