I think Wildcats went 1-10 in 2004 under Graybeal and 14-16 in basketball under Cravens. In 2005 Wildcats went 10-17 under Cravens, but under Mcbride’s first year, football improved to 6-5. Other than that, I think you have to go back to 1986 when Wildcats went 7-22 under Larry Farmer and 3-8 under Mike Price.
Looking like basketball team could start 0-5 in conference…this could be 1986 all over again. It’s one year after Back to the Future came out…dang that tells you how historically bad things are. Maybe we can get in the DeLorean, travel back in time and stop the Wildcats from hiring Crompton as AD
.
With Crompton being an assistant coach for one year who then became coach for 15 years, I think he just wanted to hope assistants on staffs would work out like his situation.
I just don’t want Crompton making the next hires. I’d put more trust in letting the fans vote on a list of applicants who apply.
