I know we all expect the Eags to win Saturday and move on the "Natty" but I for one didn't see this season playing out like this, especially on defense.

My expectations back in August with a new QB. Off Line and questions on defense, I thought 7-4 was a realistic season with a playoff berth especially with the Sept schedule.

I don't think anyone really expected the defense to become of the shutdown caliber that it is. No one could have reasonably expected or even hoped for a shutout in the playoffs, stopping one of the best 8 teams in the country. The opponent has not scored in the last 6 qtrs!
