PSU got alot of help this weekend, and since they just helped themselves by beating Sac State 13-7, let's take a look.
#12 N. Iowa lost.
#9 Cal Poly lost.
#4 James Madison lost.
Some Ivy League ranked teams also lost, which helps the ranking, although it won't help when it comes to playoff competition.

I just have to say that I can live with not being selected as long as San Diego doesn't get in over us. Their strength of schedule is so ridiculously week! I'd love to see their record if they had to play PSU's 2006 schedule. Seems to me like they'd go about 6-5 or 5-6. With that out of the way, PSU deserves to make the field as an at-large team, and might make for the most dangerous #16 seed (not that they seed past the first four, but you know what I mean) in recent memory.
