I haven’t seen our D give up more than 26 to an FCS opponent and I won’t predict that they will tomorrow either.

I'd like to see the Eagles run, run, run, and pass after run is well established.
I would bet they will spy EBIII and blitz a lot like Weber did. If we run the game plan we used in Portland our running backs will cover some serious turf when they hit the second level and before they are caught, if at all.

I don't think Nicholls has the athlete's to effectively or continuously blitz EB3 and succeed. Lots of options like you mentioned running the ball. If I was Nicholls I would drop 7, let my DL work upfield, and create confusion for EB3 by alternately lb's and safeties around into different zone looks depending on down and distance and make Eastern have to commit to lots of 3-5 yard runs. Not sure the Eags have been patient running the ball early in games. Given the week off Eastern should be the more physical team throughout the contest.
Likely, Nicholls will try a little bit of everything. If they can blitz and be somewhat effective early it will be interesting to see how Reeder, EB3 and the OL respond.

Hahaha yeah I was definitely wrong on this one. I thought both EWU and Nicholls would find success in the passing game. The opposite was true.
