Playoff's Jackrabbits win the Natty! 45-21

Hear ya on Sac St. Watchin now..need SS to win by two td's. MSU looked good and Griz got beat up by NDSU. Dislike NDSU but at least EWU beat NDSU in men's basketball today!

Sac finally made a play and won 38-31. They get UIW next... Unless there's another monsoon, not sure they will be able to contain them...

Quarterfinals: Both BigSky games are laaaate Friday night est. That sucks a big hog. MSU on ESPN2

Friday: William and Mary @ Montana State -- Similar teams. W&M is better than I thought. TO's in frosty Bozeman may decide this one. I lean Kats as I like the Chambers/Mellot duo and if Ifanse can add some carries even better. Think MSU throws the ball slightly better too. W&M's defense may be better and they are used to seeing MSU style offense. Going to #TrustInVigen Go BigSky.

Friday: UIW @ Sac St. -- This is likely end of the line for TT and the Hornets. No way they can slow down UIW short of another monsoon. UIW's coach is moving on to Texas State when their run is over so it's hard to measure the impact on the game. Expect the UIW players to play for themselves after 2 coaches in two years have moved up to FBS. If Sac St can keep pace (I don't like their 2 headed beast very much but it's been effective against BigSky defenses) it could come down to a TO or last possession.

Samford at NSDU -- SoCon is a joke until it beats someone. I like Samford. Nice little college, west of Birmingham. They got better as the season progressed but not expecting them to go on the road with one less day to prepare and beat NDSU at home. NDSU by two scores.

Holy Cross at SDSU -- Impressed with Holy Crosses defense but overall that team is slower, smaller and should be overwhelmed by SDSU's physicality. Stranger things have happened. If HC can stop the run, it could be closer than I think. SDSU.

Thx lucky with world cup on slipped my mind the playoffs on tonite...was thinking all on Sat...so thx a bunch. Rooting for MSU and Sac .ST and both have a chance at home.

You're welcome. Soccer is not a distraction for me.

Holy cow! Samford D just put it on NDSU qb...

Montana State took care of business. W&M definitely could not cope with the cold. 55-7.

HOLY COW! UIW wins a barn burner. 66-63 Two late onside kicks recovered by Sac St put them back in the game but hijinks wasn't enough.

Hmmmm 738 yards of offense and you lose...remind anyone of anything? Sac St. didnt use one of their timeouts at the end...big mistake mighta cost them getting into fg range at the end. That go-ahead catch in the end zone was kinda iffy at the end by UIW but not enough to overturn. Quite the game.

The catch was good;-) but the TO TT didn't call with about 14 seconds at the 50 was inexcusable... I thought UIW would take care of business in this one before the game started and I stayed up until 3:30 am watching and it was Exciting. Both teams played their asses off.

On another note, plug EB3 into the UIW offense with some of the WR weapons he had at Eastern and he throws 70 TD's and scores another 20+ in a season. EB3 was faster and is a better thrower than Scott is. Scott set the FCS mark at 59 TD passes this season for those who didn't see the broadcast. He threw 4 td and ran for 2 last night.

These are probably pretty close. NDSU's discipline on defense likely results in more than 2 TO's but if Scott can be accurate and UIW can get on the edge, this could be an interesting game. Don't think NDSU has faced a better offense this season.

I think MSU's offense is good enough to beat SDSU but it's a big ask on the road. Vigen is familiar with the Rabbits. MSU may have enough defense to slow them down. I like MSU's chances with the QB duo and Ifanse, not to mention their special teams returner. Rabbits will be ready, they haven't forgotten last year.

Good game...boy that fumble at the end...kinda looked like a fumble.

There was not a question if there was a fumble or not but the recovery. Did the NDSU player have the ball on bottom of the pile to have it taken away by UIW?
How about the targeting call earlier? How could that not have been targeting by the UIW DB?
When the UIW #0 gets to the big show and they knock 75# off he will be an animal.

Good game with some questionable ref'ing. UIW with 4 TO's cost them the game. Those NDSU OL guys really know how to hook rushers. Saw several instances. Montana St will take them apart in the Natty. :-)

All I could think was how EB3 would have been in the UIW offense. Unstoppable.

I seriously could not locate that football, the refs didn’t even try on replay. They just came back and said “Play stands”

Well damn. Kats did not get it done. It will be an all DSU final. The N didn't look that dominate in the games I watched so expect the S to put them down. A couple weeks to prepare and heal. These teams are familiar with each other... Not excited to watch. :|

Championship game today. NDSU v SDSU...

I like SDSU in this B.I.G. Can't count NDSU out though. Everyone see the UIW QB Scott won the Walter Payton? He was fun to watch. That's an offense I'd pay to see every week.

Doesn't Eastern play NDSU again next year?

Have a blessed one Eag fans. :-)

This should be a study in offensive line holding by NDSU today... wonder if the ref's will notice.
