Time for a poll about the polls. Will the Hornets outperform the preseason poll(s)?
My answer is a resounding "yes". Baring health issues, we should exceed the 5th preseason ranking in the polls (both coaches and media). We have a favorable conference schedule and baring significant injuries, have the talent on the offensive side of the ball to be favored in most of our matchups. Personally I like the disrespect in the polls, it should give the Hornets plenty of bulletin board material heading into the season...very reminiscent to the 2021 preseason.
