Portland Pilots Thread

The Rose City Classic. I can't wait.

Should be another good indicator game such as the ASU game. UP beat MSU by a slim margin, and MSU isn't exactly a powerhouse in the BSC this year. We *should* win this game.
 
For the first time in quite a few years, I actually think that PSU has a better team than the Pilots. I mean, for the last few years I've felt that UP might have a legitimate shot at the tourney if we played in the Big Sky, but with the Pilots coming off a 29-point loss to BYU, I think the Viks are just plain better this year.

At least we still own the series . . .
 
I'm pumped for the game. I'm taking my girlfriend who is a UP grad. ;-)

UP is down this year and hopefully we can give em another loss to ponder. That MSU team that they beat in a really close game is one of the weaker BSC teams....
 
Thanks for the welcome. This is PSU's best chance to knock off the Pilots for quite some time. UP is having a down year and is coming off a 29 point loss to BYU. But . . . this is a rivalry game and anything can happen. I like Coach Rev a hell of a lot better than Holton, and as long as UP doesn't shoot 25% (a la BYU, and no I'm not kidding) the game should be close.
