Portland State @ California-Keys to the game

I personally think PSU needs to do what they have been doing, and create some turnovers, and give up none.
Your D should be able to keep it somewhat close as long as the O and special teams don't allow Cal great field position.
With Ali being out, and me not knowing your WR's very well this year, it is hard to comment on how your O will do. I'm sure your OL will be up to snuff against Cal...at least for the most part.
I would like to see PSU get an early score one way or another and hold Cal a couple times so it messes with their heads a bit, and they panic a bit. I doubt they will panic, but who knows. Any advantage you can get will be needed, given the disadvantages inherent to playing a I-A team in their house.
Anyway, good luck.

do NOT let the Bears.....

come out of North Tunnel! Barricade with everything you've got....equipment, extra balls, PSU fans, whatever you've got!
Hold them from coming onto the Field....and you Win by Forfeit!
jk. If the Vikes get off to ANY kind of quick start with a score or two.....the defense MAY be strong enough to hold Cal back for awhile. BALL CONTROL will be your biggest obstacle.
Good luck and enjoy the game! Go Bears!!

My simplistic take on it is that our D must not allow any early explosion plays.

If our O can sustain some long drives, it will allow our D rest for the entire game.

Focus on 10 yard 1st downs. Keep the 3 downs and out to a very minimum.

So if eveything goes our way, it could be a low scoring game.
