Vikings Travel To Defending National Champs Eastern Washington

For anyone planning on making the trip up you probably want to get your tickets soon. On our coaches show Monday night they mentioned there were less than 200 tickets left for the game. Of course, I doubt anyone will have a problem getting as they usually don't have a problem with standing room only - but just to be safe.

Should be a great game. We are really banged up as we have already lost 7 players for the year, 3 of them All-Americans (Johnson, Johnson, Kaufman) and will most likely be without the services of All-American DT Renard WIlliams this Saturday. Our run defense has been poor, to it will be interesting what we can do against PSU. On the other hand, I think our receivers and QB match up ok with the PSU secondary.

It sounds like Coach Burton doesn't like to discuss injuries, so there isn't a ton of info out there...

I sure hope Wade is able to go on Saturday, haven't heard a thing since he was helped off the field at halftime last week.

Yep. I expect maybe around 9k will be at the game tonight.

We packed almost 12k in last year against for the Montana game, but we only have a little under 9k permanent seats. There's been a lot of rumors about expansions, though, and hopefully the fact that we've sold out 3/4 games this season makes that happen sooner than later. I guess one way to look at it is that when you play in a smaller stadium that you can consistently sell-out then it makes something like expansion easier to justify.
 
There goes all of our momentum. Eastern scores a TD.

And the radio station is really bothering me. They aren't even cutting their damn commercials when the game is on. :evil:
