Not sure why we always find a way to struggle at Holt Arena, but I hope that this is the year to break the string of bad play there. Maybe the new turf that they have will help. ;)

What's at stake: Win today and the Vikings are off to their best start since opening 3-1, 2-0 in 2006. That year, Tim Walsh's last as head coach, they went on to finish 7-4, 6-2. Portland State lost 55-13 last week at No. 20 TCU, and has dropped five consecutive at Holt Arena, but showed real growth in home victories this season against Southern Oregon and Northern Arizona. Winning in Pocatello also would snap an overall six-game road losing streak, where coach Nigel Burton is 1-7 on the road overall. ... The Bengals, led by first-year coach Mike Kramer, lost at Northern Arizona last week 20-3.

Any idea if Myles Wade is injured? I noticed him hobbling a bit, and haven't seen him in a while. Wondering if the radio guys said anything. He may be still in there, my video stream is too pixelated to see numbers.

Down 1 after all that, could have been much, much worse on the scoreboard.

They just mentioned that he was slow to get up after a play. No details as of yet.

This is getting ridiculous. Up to 13 penalties for the half now. Very high schoolish.
