I give up. We're terrible.
This team is killing me, slowly, piece by piece. I think we are officially a basketball school.
I don't mean to pile on Hubel, but how many balls to open receivers have gone right into the turf?

It looks like it to me we can score the points, but our defense still has lots of holes that still need to be filled.

I understand that he will be around for the next couple of years at a mimimum but no matter the outcome, I wouldn't have paid the price of 2 crappy seasons for him to implement this "system". The question is whether they would have been better off if they had stuck with Lupfer or gone with one of the other candidates. Are you convinced they would have won more games the last two years, and had a recruiting class like the one he brought in last year? If so, your concern is valid. I just don't know.
Another factor is inconsistency. The team that beat Eastern Washington looked like a pretty good team, so they aren't always awful. I agree with you that it is his job to take responsibility for the lack thereof.

However, that doesn't put wins in our pocket. I have a feeling that these classes that are being put together will do well, but will we fade back into nothingness before this happens?
This team can't win on the road. Youth? Maybe. However, sometimes we seem like we're not prepared. A great example was the NAU game. Out-coached in my opinion. Could another coach have gotten a win there with this talent?
