Good luck against Montana, fellas! Go into Wa-Griz and hang a big win against 'em!
That's not nice. How about I wish NCU good luck at home? Follow that with Weber at home and you're 1-3 - and out.

Like I said, good luck PSU! Go Vikings!

Portland State has a chance to shock the world of Division I-AA football on Saturday.

The Vikings get their shot at fourth-ranked Montana, which is 6-0 against PSU since the Viks joined the Big Sky Conference.

Kickoff in Missoula is noon PT. Comcast SportsNet will televise the game live.

Montana’s starting quarterback is former Oregon QB Justin Roper. He has completed 25 of 43 passes for 292 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions in his first season with the Grizzlies.

Montana is off to an 2-0 start but has yet to get untracked. The Grizzlies started slowly in wins of 38-0 over Western State and 17-10 at UC Davis last week.

PSU is coming off a mundane 34-10 victory over Southern Oregon. Redshirt freshman Zach Brown kicked field goals of 52 and 46 yards for the Vikings, who haven’t showed much improvement in their ground game, save for backup QB Connor Kavanaugh’s limited carries. The Viks have three or more wideout threats, though (Aaron Woods, Lavonte Kirven and Ray Fry), who are bound to draw attention from Montana’s normally solid defense.

And in today's game, wide receiver Keitrell Anderson could replace senior Daniel Wolverton in the starting lineup, making him the third true freshman in three weeks to earn a starting job. Anderson, the 5-foot-9, 170-pound receiver from Aldine High School in Houston, Texas, was coach Jerry Glanville's highest-rated receiver in last February's recruiting class and has three catches for 34 yards after two games.
