Yeah, if Walsh drops either NAU or Sac State, he should lose his job. This is a playoff team on paper, and not making it to the playoffs would be falling way short of expectations.

Its not expected, or even rumored. The only rumor that I've seen is Walsh getting the Athletic Director job, but that was just hypotheticals tossed around by PSU fans.
I'm not sure how I feel about Walsh and getting a replacement. We know what we can expect from Walsh....7-4 and missing the playoffs. We will lose close road games that we should win, but we will have a good defense and will win at home. If we bring in another coach, either he could do really well after a couple years, as a new coach almost never does well his first year. The other side, is that this new coach could be worse than Walsh. At least we are winning some games right now. That could change with a new coach.

The reason I say that is this: PSU should expect more. It takes time to build up from the jump from Division II, and the time for being a D1-AA powerhouse is now. We should be in the running for the BSC title every year, and in the playoffs every year. If a new coach is what it takes, so be it. Walsh is a nice guy, but I want playoff games for this program. As a supporter, either give me that, or get someone in there who can...
