Well......now that basketball season's over.....may as well set up this thread. The McNeese fans sure liked to talk a bunch 2 years back......for some reason I don't think the OSU fans will.

Dealing with the Rodgers boys should be interesting. I'm not sure there's anything to be gained given that nobody in the Big Sky can move like that. PSU will be a better team this year, but it may not be noticeable from the scoreboard in this one.

If we were to score more then 14 points I'd be happy. At least we play Southern Oregon the week after.....Only to head to Missuola after that...... :? :x

i really do like psu i just like osu way better.

That's right. While OSU is still battling in the NIT, we are already preparing our third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance next year. Someone needs to represent Oregon after all. :mrgreen:

Same here, just the other way round. I like OSU a lot - especially when they are annoying UO and USC.

just to let you know Oregon state is in the championship of the 3 letter tournament if you want to drive down to Corvallis and watch Monday.

I know this is a Portland State forum, but 61chad I loved how the Beavers beat USC last year, I hate USC and Oregon State is one of my favorite FBS schools, (After Utah, Boise and Colorado).

Do it again this year, I like to see the Trojans lose.

I have always liked Boise since back in the days of them being in the Sky. I dont know what it is about them that I like, Maybe its the fact that they are the only 1-aa football team to move to 1a and be successful.

Why do you dislike them? I'm not a "fan" of any school other than the ones I attended, but I don't root against BSU the way I do other schools like UW, UO, and OSU. If anything, I respect BSU as a model for what PSU sports can become.

Why do you dislike them? I'm not a "fan" of any school other than the ones I attended, but I don't root against BSU the way I do other schools like UW, UO, and OSU. If anything, I respect BSU as a model for what PSU sports can become.

It's not that I dislike them. But was curious why a Weber St. fan would like them. I don't necessarily look at them as a role model for PSU. It is a entirely different setting for them. They don't compete against two Pac-10 programs in the same state. Boise doesn't have an NBA team either or another DI basketball program in the same city like PSU has with UP. Weber State has some of the same competition that PSU has although Weber isn't based in Salt Lake. It will be funny if Boise State beats Oregon again this fall.
