I haven't yet seen the Vikings play this season, so I can't guess the outcome. Our Bears are hard to figure out though, this much I do know.

PSU will be looking to avenge last year's loss in Greeley--the Vikings were ranked top 10 and we upset them in the final minute, long drive & td with secs left!

The last few meetings between the teams have been decided by a TD or less. Prediction: Close or Blowout.

Hopefully, Neil Lomax is under the weather and can't play:

"Neil Lomax was a standout college player at Portland State University, going from fifth-string freshman quarterback on partial scholarship to emergency starter to NCAA legend. By the end of his college career, Neil Lomax held 90 NCAA records, including one game where he threw for seven touchdown passes in a single quarter. He also had a game against Northern Colorado in 1979 where he was 44/77 for 499 yards passing. As of 2012, that game ranks 4th all-time at Portland State for yards thrown in a game...."

Let's go Bears!

At my first out of state Road game here in Portland and this is rough. Offensive play calling is embarrassing. Why do I do these things to myself? The talent gap is clear (we are much more talented), but we can't call plays. Unbelievable.

What exactly happened at the end of the game? I had the radio on to the game and thought that Portland tied it up in 1 OT, then I went into the store and checked again 5 minutes later and it said they won. Did I miss something?

Makes the loss at Eastern Washington a head scratcher as well. I'd love to see us play to the level I know we are capable of and send ND home scratching their heads!!! Go Bears!!!

No they lost. They had passed to a receiver and it appeared they caught (called a TD) but it was reviewed and overturned. Not only the TD but the reception as well and the QB was unable to complete any other passes. Not sure why they said PSU won.

That makes sense, I heard the call was a TD and then turned it off to head into the store at that point. Didn't realize that it was going to be reviewed. I was thinking espn was broken haha

I was watching and seeing it live it looked like no doubt it was a TD, like not for a second did I think they didn't score... got up for a minute, came back and it was reversed but I never saw a replay that showed why it was no good. Their announcers weren't screaming bloody murder but they were a little annoyed so I'm guessing it was a close one.

Watched whole game, play calling in first half was disturbing - much better in second. Sloter picked them apart the whole game and played huge! The TD that was reversed in OT was clearly dropped, ball came out and was laying on the ground. Easy reverse. Hope Riek is ok, went out with what appeared to be a knee issue but never heard anything. Cartagena was able to run because we started throwing on first and second down successfully. Opens it up for running game. Great win! Go Bears!
