Portland State

We pretty much dominated PSU in the second half. All of that and we were far from playing our best ball. We missed a lot of layups and dunks that we normally make. PSU is not without talent. They have a monster inside, but don't utilize him like they should. He should get twice as many shots and their guards should do more than wild drives and off balance shots. Not sure what their coaches salary is, but he is not worth a tenth of what Randy is worth. Their offense seemed to be to dribble it around until they either turned it over or fired up a horrific shot. When they actually looked at their big man, they were fairly effective. Although, they turned it over a few times trying to force it into him. With the talent they have, they should be playing a lot better. :wall:

Actually, I'm OK with them keeping their coach for another 20 years.

Kicked it in gear just before half and didn't let up after that very proud.worth staying up late for.

Great game by the Cats. Fun to watch. Once they realized they were so much better organized and talented than the Vikings the Cats took them behind the woodshed and it was over after that. I was getting really frustrated during the first 17 mins. Very little movement, jacking up threes, not trying to get it in the middle. I'll say it, I love Jeremy as the shooting guard. Cannot stand watching him run the point. Another great game by Bolomboy. Loved the play of the bench. Cannon really makes an impact on the court, are team is a lot better with him on the floor. Gittens and Hill brought great energy off the bench again last night. Unfortunately, I'm scratching my head over Richardson starting. He seems almost invisible while on the floor.

As always, I'm shocked that the administration at PSU retains the services of Red Face. All he did was stamp his feet, argue with the refs, and lobby for more calls. No coaching was happening. You could tell that PSU is made up of a bunch of "free-agent" type guys. While Weber is a team. PSU has talent, but it is disorganized. If a team like UNCO had bigs like the Vikings, they'd be one of the top teams in the league because they have a coach who actually knows how to use them. Geving?? Yikes...

On to Sac...
