It has been mentioned that the Protland vs McNeese game in week one was going to be a good one.

Here is your chance to watch it... These are all the football games scheduled for live streaming video on SLC-TV.

Will anyone be going to a bar to llive stream this and project it on a big screen? I know the Timbers' Army does this for away games. They go to Slab Town in NW Portland.

If there's a bar that has a laptop with Internet connectivity and with S-video capability to a big screen, that would be great. I think Capt. Ron's Sports Bar in Sherwood has the capability. They use a laptop for their karaoake jockey, and it is projected on to their big screen via the S-video cord. For $5.95 that's not a bad deal! I'd be happy to check it out (although it is a long drive for anyone living east of I-5 and 99W).

anyone have a laptop they'd be willing to bring to a downtown sports bar?
I'm sure we could acquire the necessary cables.

and, where the hell is sherwood?

Portland State University?

That's funny. Such an obvious, yet obviously overlooked, suggestion. Chisholm should work with ASPSU or student housing to sponsor a viewing party on campus.

...and wouldn't you know it (I didn't. Honest.)...

ALSO Game will be streamed live in the Busisness Admin Building on big screen begining at 4pm Saturday.

I recall, during the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, going to the Park City Library, re-dubbed "Norway House" for the games. Had a big screen going in the auditorium, had one room open serving, get this, Aass Beer (both in ale and porter- darn good stuff, BTW). Is it too much to ask to have a side room?

You'll be there, Pounder?
Aussie Mike will probably come with his laptop.
We could keep tabs on the Timbers on USLLive. Match starts at 4:30.

judging from the free preview game of Sam Houston State v Angelo STate, the quality is pretty good for inet streaming. Decent camera angles too with the occasional replay. I'd pay $5 for it.
