Man Skattebo looks like a load coming down hill in that picture. Mack truck coming!

I can’t wait to see what he does with a full season. Would be awesome to see him go for 150 and two tudders vs. UNC!

Hope he can stay healthy, but I really like all the backs - and think they are perfect for the TT system.

Taylor should give Cam at least 15 carries a game IMO....He reminds me of Marshawn Lynch from Cal.....He doesn't go down on the first or second hit....I don't remember him being stopped for a loss even once last year....Mini Beast Mode.....

I think he went like 6 games in a row without a rush for a loss or something. Maybe had one for a loss at causeway? The announcers mentioned his streak.

I watched this kid play for 2 seasons at Rio Linda. He was typically a man amongst boys.

While he can surely run with power -- like he did on the infamous run during the State Championship game his SR season -- what I believe separates him from most is his balance. His balance and ability to stay on his feet is as good as I've seen in quite a while. He's just not easy to get on the ground.

Couple that with good speed, elusiveness, and vision -- this kid really has the tools to be among the best backs and just downright great football players the Hornets have ever had.

And the kid has very good hands and instincts as a receiver and can be a very physical and willing blocker.

If he continues to work super hard, the sky is the limit.

All he needs are more carries....

Well, that's exactly the hurdle I discussed when Elijah Dotson was here. The rush opportunities went way down in Coach Taylor's system. He tends to like to rotate his backs in and out every play or every other play. It's hard for a back to get into a rhythm that way.

He basically did the same thing with Skattebo, Perkinson, and Fulcher last season after Dot's departure. Skat had some nice moments and IIRC a couple 100+ yard games but still didn't see the touches you'd hope for.

With Fulcher returning and the stable of other promising backs they have, IDK how much that'll change.
