Sawyer Whalen (6-4, 220) had offer from Portland State until PSU recently pulled the offer (not sure why). He indicates Idaho State and Montana as possible destinations.

PSU has had a lot of verbal commits the past couple weeks, and probably ran out of scholarships.

Whalen looks quick, and at 6-4 220 he could play OLB in our 3-4. With him and Nilsson, we could land two of the best DE's from the state of Washington this year. But, we might be short of scholarships due to our current restrictions... we still need a couple O-linemen.

Nilsson ranked #6, Whalen ranked #8 by NEI.
