Post Season Tourney this year? CBI (Tues)

If they are considering us for hosting a game, that is a testiment to our ability to put butts in seats and to our growing student section.

We really are making progress. Lets just keep it going. :clap: :clap: :clap:
 
I'm pretty sure that a lot depends on tonights game. If Weber comes out and plays well, getting a win would be the best, then I'm guessing the Cats will definitely get an invite to either the CBI or CIT. If they lay an egg, I'm not sure its gonna happen. Weber hasn't been playing their best basketball of late, so hopefully, they will turn it up a notch and get into a good offensive rythmn.

Getting a home game, no matter how Baker the tournament is, would be great. I'd love it. Who knows, with a little luck and some good playing Weber might be able to go pretty far in the CIT or CBI. I'm kinda incredulous to the option, but it would be nice. Only way this happens is if UM gets an invite from someone else. They are first in line after the NCAA Tourny Bears (I really think they are considering changing the mascot to being BJ's, in honor of the glorious coach BJ Hill).

wait, what school is this, and do they have any openings for an assistant coach? Just imagine the possibilities...
 
Just read the article. Nice to have something to be excited about even if it doesn't happen. Will we find out Sunday evening?
 
The sports news has a number of schools that have committed to play in CIT this year. Do a quick Google news search and here's the headlines I found with teams: I saw Air Force, Northern Iowa, Hawaii, Portland, Winner of Great West tournament (probably UVU), SMU, Furman, Oral Roberts, Univ of Idaho, and Santa Clara. the Maybes (CBI or CIT are shown as Minnesota, East Tennessee State, Creighton, and UCF.

Of course it all gets settled for real on Sunday night. CIT seems to be locking people into games and SIDs making announcements, so maybe they are jumping the gun a bit.
 
I think its possible, but Weber must come out and play against St. Mary's, we cant go out and lay a complete egg, if we make a good showing we may get the benefit of the doubt, but if we dont than we have sealed our fate.

I would love for Weber to play more games this year, Im not sure Im ready to have to wait 6 months for Weber Football.
 
That would be nice. I was talking to friends about this very subject and they said they may consider going if we do.
 
It's official. We do get a first round home game.
