Pre-bye week injury situation

Where are we at?

I know we're down a corner, but what about our guard and center situation? Myers and Powers ready to go? What about Taiwan? And the DL guys?

I think we're good everywhere else, unless someone can think of a glaring omission. I'm most concerned about Gauldin being out and our banged up center and guard. When you're running behind Post, Myers, and Powers, you know you're going to get some holes. No disrespect to the guys that back them up, but I'd be happier with the starters.

These are the reasons we need to hammer someone early and often so that the bigs can catch a break !! Think they're both banged up but are probable ! Without them in there it could be a long day for all the rest ! GOEAGS!

Spoke with Players/Head Trainer,
Received the following information. Reference Autise Gauldin suspension.(sp) It was relayed to me the Receiver from SAC ST was short, when he caught the ball he ducked a little causing Gauldin to hit his helmet, causing the suspension. Don't know if you know Derek Robinson, he came from Colorado State last year, and is now suffering from Concussions. Most of them he had at Sumner High. I saw him at a Volleyball Game, and I am really concerned about him. You can tell he is on all type of Medication, he have since given up Football. Spoke to his female friend, plays VB for EWU, she said they are trying to get his medication squared away. I do not agree with Doug Fullerton, Big Sky President, I don't think this was intentional hit, he made the call, we must live with it. Why didn't the Official throw the flag? He was in the area. #38 Allan Brown FR from Foss, will fill in greatly for Gauldin.

Tiawan practiced very hard today, along with Chris Powers, Nikolai Meyers, Calb Worthington, they all looked great. Meyers stated he will be playing at PSU including Powers.

Spoke with Ryan Seto, he said he will try to get ready for Souther Utah, after the bye week. It rained fine drizzle today at practice, we will probarbly have the same weather at PSU, it was very cold.

Also spoke with BLM, he is such a positive individual to talk with. I told him if he throw pick this week, I will kicked his butt, :lol: he smiled, and said "Vic s--t happens. He said he just need to find his Receivers, and get the ball to them. I did let him know, when we need yards for a
first down/TD, he makes the right decision.

BLM told me some things today, will keep it to myself, might have some PSU Coaches/Spies on our blog
Just watch or listen to what goes on. They were doing some things I have never seen before today. We have some surprises for PSU, which will produce another "Win". Keeping my fingers crossed.

EWEURanger, you are right on with your injury list. Keep up the good work. p.s. I know all of you missed me on the blog :lol: , and just think, all "Clean" :? Team will depart at 08:00am tomorrow morning, Chartered Buses. Since there is a bye week, some of the players might stay in Portland until Monday. Told them to keep out of trouble. Go Eagles!!!!!
