It's hard to argue with any of this. Although it is certainly possible in a best-case scenario, schools don't tend to sweep all five awards. I think the closest anyone has ever come to doing it was WSU in 2008-09 when McCoy won MVP, Rahe won Coach of the Year, Davis won Defense Player of the Year, and Lillard won Freshman of the Year. I could be wrong, though.

i agree with you both. 2009 we were so far ahead, 2nd place was 11-5. this yr i dont think we can get fresh or newcomer, those awards require a lot of minutes.

what i want to see happen is weber have 3 1st teamers - berry, trez, joel. though 3 is so hard to get. also on my wish list is trez to be big sky mvp candidate which may happen, but i am not sure if there will be enough rebounds to go around for both him and joel and big sky likes seeing nice stats. :-D 17 & 7 are mvp numbers though. last yr trez averged 12 & 5.5 in 24 mpg. we see it all the time it seems like at weber where a big has a big senior season.

our bigs down low playing very well and not in foul trouble will be a nightmare to defend in conf play, then on top of that we still have 2 guys (berry/rich) on the roster that can shoot over 40% from 3 and jrich our point, doesn't turn the ball over.

a healthy weber team even with 11 scholarship players has the potential to be very good!

It is scary how good Weber is, even with 11 scholarship players. I think the one player we are all under-valuing is Richaud Gittens, but that is because Rahe was able to get Senglin. From what I've seen of him, he is a player with a lot of upside and potential. He is extremely talented and can really move. He is quick!! Most teams would be over joyed to have him alone, but Weber also has Senglin.

Senglin, is one of the best court QB's this school might see. Senglin is a control player, who has excellent ball handling skills and can really stretch the defense with his shooting abilities. Don't under-estimate his ability to attack the basket though, he can penetrate and get to the rack. With the guys we have now and those who have signed for the future, I'm pretty sure this team will be good for a few years to come. Senglin, Hill, Gittens, and Fuller could all become the Freshman of the Year. One big reason why Gelaun isn't here anymore, the depth, talent, and workmanship attitude of our incoming Freshman class.
