8-3

Id say the Weber St. game is probably 50/50 playing at home. I would give us a 75% chance to beat UND, and a 90% chance to beat PSU. The good thing is we still have everything to play for, including a big sky title if SUU can pull off an upset on NAU.

You guys have to be kidding if you think we lose to Weber...we win it going away and finish 8-3. We have an outside shot at the 7 or 8 seed but we need to win the conference auto bid for that. Basically need the griz to beat NAU and NAU to beat SUU

I don't know. I think we have the talent. Not sure we have the coaching? Offensive coaches are so inexperienced. I am not sure what to think about the Defensive play calling? It just feels off!

Yep. We need help to build up our quality wins and SoS. It also wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for MSU to upset NAU and win out. They'd be 7-4 against a quality schedule and a win against a possible playoff team in Kennesaw.

Same thing with Davis or SAC.

We'd still need a ton of help elsewhere with Elon picking up a pair of losses and MVFC cannibalization as WIU, SDSU, and South Dakota would have better resumes with an equal record. ISUr would also be close. Then there's SHSU who will probably finish with just one loss. Ugh...2 SLC seeds?

Not likely to get a seed.

8-3, I think we can and will beat Weber St. but it will not be an easy game. I like that we have had an extra week to prepare and rest our guys to finish out the season strong.

I, also picked 8-3, like the the majority. We have a lot going for us vs. Weber State (Rest the team NEEDED and received, 2 weeks to prep), and I think we win in a close game!

I believe this weekend will be a tough game and I'm not really sure who the horrible weather will benefit more. The bright side to the new coaching philosophy is we're more prepared for bad weather. I just hope we have the horses to succeed at it.

Coming off a bye, I expect the Eags the look rested and fired up this weekend and I think that will carry them to 8-3.

I wish I had your confidence. I just see our entire offense revolving around perfect QB play. Without it, we're a very average team. Our defense is surrendering a lot of points most games and can't be counted on for a big performance. Both OL and DL struggle to take over a game, as evidenced by us getting gashed up the middle on D and having very little running game to speak of on O.

I think 7-4 is reasonable and playoffs should be the expectation every year. If we can beat Weber, 8-3 seems doable. I have a hard time thinking we can do much in the playoffs. Eventually, and likely early, we'll get a physical MVC team and we'll struggle.

I'm hoping for the best, and this team has shown flashes of brilliance at times, but I just don't think the upside is that high this year. Next year will be a different story as we return almost everyone and that super talented incoming class from the last recruiting cycle gets some PT.

8-3 if we can protect the ball. 6-5 if we average 3+ turnovers in the last three games. Can't have TO's against Weber. Cannot win the BigSky with icky loss to SUU. NAU looks super and is in the cat bird seat. Can easily see us sitting during the playoff's with the propensity of this team to cough up the ball. HOPE isn't a strategy, but hope the bye week let these young men rejuvenate and fixate on the goal to closing/finishing undefeated.

Just a little stat purusing says Eastern should have the same record as Idaho State... This makes little to no sense, just super poor numbers... 13 int's. 117th on defense, .411 on 3rd downs defensively. Eag's are 76th in rushing though... Think the only difference in the amount of talent the Eags have on the field, period.

I agree on the TO's. That is the #1 killer this season and I know it has been a focus in practice this week. Hold on to the ball!

Focus this week????????????? It should have been a focus since last spring!!!
This turnover margin is a product of the culture of this team.

Look at FBS, Team Statistics, turnover margin. Wyoming is #1. Craig Bohl is the godfather of the NDSU dynasty, and I can assure you they are on the top of that statistic by design, not by accident.
