Tomorrow's ballgame is the ballgame; predicting that the Eags will play tight, tough, winning football tomorrow, and then complete the season 8 and 3, ready for the playoffs. Time to heat up The Inferno Eags!

8-3 if we can protect the ball. 6-5 if we average 3+ turnovers in the last three games. Can't have TO's against Weber. Cannot win the BigSky with icky loss to SUU. NAU looks super and is in the cat bird seat. Can easily see us sitting during the playoff's with the propensity of this team to cough up the ball. HOPE isn't a strategy, but hope the bye week let these young men rejuvenate and fixate on the goal to closing/finishing undefeated.

I agree on the TO's. That is the #1 killer this season and I know it has been a focus in practice this week. Hold on to the ball!
Focus this week????????????? It should have been a focus since last spring!!!
This turnover margin is a product of the culture of this team.

Look at FBS, Team Statistics, turnover margin. Wyoming is #1. Craig Bohl is the godfather of the NDSU dynasty, and I can assure you they are on the top of that statistic by design, not by accident.
Duh. Calm down big man.

It may or may not. I think if we really blow out our last two opponents then we might have a good shot at making it in based on late season performance and brand name recognition.

I think we probably get in at 7-4, but let's be honest, winning our next two (even against two poor teams) is far from a certainty.

Does anyone here actually WANT to see this team in the playoffs? Even with a first round win, we'd be on the road every game thereafter. I would much rather see the coaching staff get headlong into recruiting than see us get thrown to some Missouri Valley team as 1st or 2nd round cannon fodder. Any of the teams in the top third of that conference would blow us out of the water.

Yes, absolutely. Playoff experience is valuable, even if you only play one game. We have a lot of younger players on this team that haven't experienced the playoffs yet.

An extra week or two to focus on recruiting does not outweigh the benefit of competing in the playoffs in my opinion.
