Prediction Northern Colorado 18 @ EWU 26

Can't claim any special insight into UNC. They have played a couple of close games and won against NAU.

Not as good as SUU, Eastern takes care of business in this one.

EWU kicks 1 FG
Brown goes for 125
Eags win TOP by 9 minutes
Kupp gets on the board this week
TE's catching balls continues
EWU creates two turnovers

EWU 45 - UNC 24

I would not have thought at the beginning of the year we would have so many offensive threats . .Brown is a huge surprise too me as just a year ago he was buried down the depth chart! My only question is what is the deal with Hill. Heard he was suspended for the game?
We need him out there to stretch the field.
This game worries me only by the simple fact that we could under estimate them and make it close at the end. Would like another one like last week were I don't have to pace at the end of the game.

Jalen Moore is the #2 back behind Forte. Bigger than Brown, hits the hole harder and doesn't fumble.

Not sure what position is more loaded' WR or RB. Beau can shorten the game if he wants with how well EWU. Is pounding the rock.

45-24

why do you guys keep predicting field goals!?!

42-27 EWU.
JW has a ho hum (4 td's is ho hum in eagle land) game like last week and we boringly make our way to 7-1, Kupp getting 2 TD's to make up for last week.

That is a great point! Maybe there should be a FG over under for the season because Beau "Don't Know FG's"
If the line was 10 ......mine response would be under 10 attempts. .for the SEASON! :thumb:
Why would you go for it with this type of offense at the very least you give it up on downs deep in their territory . . .just as good as a punt.

No Col is +12 in turnovers, one of the tops nationaly.

All by itself this stat doesn't mean much here. What is the conversion rate? TD's to FG's? Int's to Fumbles? Ultimately, this stat is traditionally used as a measure of win's right? Win the TO battle, win the game. UNC hasn't proven the rule. Of course, taking care of the ball should always be a priority for the Eags.

While turnovers do not necessarily mean points for the benefactor it definitely means the team losing the ball will not score.
ex: No Col was +4 against UNLV which kept them close in a 1 point loss, while the Bears may not have scored on those 4 possessions UNLV did not score either.
conclusion- turnovers DO mater.

Mustangs?

I usually try to dissect season performances to predict the score. However, this is a statement game. UNI whooped N. Colorado 46-7. I know that the transitive property doesn't apply to football, but damnit anything the MVFC does, I want EWU to do better.

49-6 EWU. SCRREEEE

Northern Colorado will try to rush the ball often, let'em. They suck at the run and Hamlin will shut them down. They have a decent pass game. Let them try to chuck it. Ebukam slams the quarterback, Gamboa/Wadood/McDonald will do work and we'll see some interceptions. Zylstra takes another blocked punt for a touchdown. West comes out fired up and more settled into the role of leader and throws four touchdowns. Brown breaks ankles and gets two long touchdowns. In short yardage, Moore carries five defenders in to the endzone.

An eagle perches on an upright and sheds a tear onto a patriotic EWU uniform.

So, do you have a prediction? Feel free to leverage this stat in your guesstimate, since you think it has more value in this contest.

Apparently reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. It was mentioned that "taking care of the ball should be a priority".
