Prediction Northern Colorado 18 @ EWU 26

I think this will be a game the defense will try for the shutout and this will be the most likely possibility of that. I could see a shutout happening for 3 qtrs but the Bears will get on the board late but 10 points will be far short of necessary to carry the day.
Offensively Jordan has a full game of film to evaluate and learn from his good performance in Cedar City, now I would look for a great performance. Our offense will be at full strength and in form. I would look for Baldwin to play quite a few reserves in the 4th qtr. By then the Eagles will be over 50 points.

We cover 30 points?!?

I don't think I would put my money on that point spread. My guess is it's more around 20. I think most of these spreads hust factor in average ppg, etc, and not the human factor like having the front-runner for the Payton Award on your team out with a broken foot.

Not saying we won't win, or even win big, but we are a different team without VA.

Eags are a different team without VA; one that needs everyone to do their job every play. Thought the team responded well on the road last week. Have yet to see them take it too a "true" Inferno level at home. Going to see it today. Balanced attack, aggressive defense and big plays in all phases. Yep, I'm officially a homer today :-)

DefendtheRed may have been the closest on this one. Certainly didn't see this low scoring affair taking place. Solid game for about three quarters for the defense, not sure why they changed it up, will have to see the replay. Thought being back on the Inferno with a packed house would mean more. This team is tired after the early start to the season; drink lots of fluids, take vitamin C and get some extra sleep Eags. :-)
