Prediction Thread UND 20 @ EASTERN 35 Wk 5

Has school started and students all moved into dorms/housing and does school start next week? I think they have so expect them to have a good showing...that'll be great!

Good point. First home game with the student body back in session as of the 25th. Might be good for the players to feel a part of something larger than themselves again.

Just being there and being there AND making noise are two different things. It amazes me how many people come to a game and just stand there for 60 minutes.
 
Its easy to get in the zone as we sit with the Ledbetter clan and friends. I'm hoarse by the end of the game
but suprised others around us are to quite.or hadsitters.

Dire. Without an outstanding offensive performance this game will not be won.

Don't expect the defensive play calling to improve, it's clear to me Ena was a poor choice. Best has shown the ability to rebound. Thought he knew how to ask for more from the coaches after last years run. FDH.
 
I guess we'll see, but I'm not pleased with the defense. There has been no building from last year's success on that side of the ball. The coverages are too soft, and the DL looks small and weak. Worst all, and I have no idea why this seems to be such a persistent problem, but we are always beat up to high hell with injuries. You expect to lose a couple of guys here and there, but it's getting ridiculous... and it's just par for the course.

Yeah I almost put fan culture in the disappointment thread a while back. So many people just sit quietly the whole game. Sometimes I feel bad for standing and cheering on third down.
 
Time to get on board the positive train. Hope the team can rise above all the hurdles, right the ship and bring home a victory. Let's Go Eags!
 
Eastern better score some more points. Where’s Custer? Why is that slow, back with no speed or shiftiness running laterally? You give any team enough chances and eventually they’ll take advantage. Step it up boys & FINISH!!
