Agreed. Baldwin win not run up the score on MSU. If we get a comfortable lead in this game, expect to see a lot of Wilson and Pearce.

Class aside; if they can't stop the three deep from scoring, it will possibly get to 60+. Not to mention any defensive or special teams plays that result in scores. Agreed, if EWU is up 42-7, they will likely dial it back. Sportsmanship.

Claw, you're better than this. The last two weeks, Stitt has had his 3rd string QB in by the second drive of the 3rd quarter, and every single healthy and eligible player played. As noted above, coaches cannot stop backups from playing hard and being successful.

To be fair, Montana could have put up 90 or more on MVSU, and 85 on Sac. But you can only downshift so much.

And yes, Eags 60, msu 28.
 
Majority of predictions have our Defense holding MSU under 30. Would love to see that kind of success. Happy this is on Root as I get to watch on the Audible channel in Georgia. Haven't seen anything to change my thoughts on how this game should go, but do realize that Obzerver and I have the same taste in women. USC cheerleaders week 6 and Jennifer Connelly and Natasha Romanov this week equals a victory. :D
 
MSU hasn't been able to do anything on offense when facing a good defense, so it shouldn't be difficult to keep MSU under 30 if you have at least an average defense. According to the NCAA Statistics, EWU is 109/122 for total defense. I haven't had an opportunity to watch many EWU games this year to get a grasp of how the defense looks, but I'd expect that MSU will be able to put some points on the board and could give EWU a scare early.

Eastern Washington has played down to lesser opponents most of the year and doing so against MSU could let them stay in the game longer than most EWU fans are comfortable with.
 
From what I have seen from MSU this year, we should be taking them out to the woodshed. Eags 49 Kitties 14.

You have to consider some of the offenses we've played. Then again, there's no excuse for giving up 30 or however many to UC Davis and UNC.

Let's light it up as a good scrimmage for the Montana game next week. Since I am not superstitious, fretting over the things I as a fan can't control on the field isn't worth the effort. We are the superior team and will show it. Aragorn for the win!
