Prediction Thread YSU 40 @ EWU 38

Figures this fits here
here is what I found for Vegas lines for the weekend not sure what all this means but here it is anyway.
http://www.vegasinsider.com/college-football/odds/las-vegas/

No line for us so far on anything I have found.

12/16 7:00 PM
333 James Madison 2½o-17
334 North Dakota State PK -10

I wonder if they are not taking bets because of the unknown suspensions and the weather...more than likely suspensions is the reason

Per 5Dimes:

EWU -8.5
O/U 55

I'll give the points and take the under.

Honestly, I don't think weather will be that big of a factor. It sucks for the fans, but once you get layered, moving, and warmed up, you feel just fine. There will be no wind chill to cut through layers and there will be no moisture to cling to the skin. The worst they will have to deal with is a hard ground. I would take a calm sub zero day over a wet and windy 32 degree day any time every time.

Youngstown State has a good defense, but we are going to completely shock their defense. Beau was kind when he said they had seen it all, but our offense is truly a unique monster this year.

I predict that Youngstown will start hot with two rushing touchdowns, then get slowed for the rest of the game. EWU will consistently put up points throughout the whole game. EWU scores 21 in each half and wins 42-24

I hope you're right, and past history shows the Eagles have been able to play their football in the cold. Richmond last week, and SDSU a couple of years ago, an MVFC team with star Zach Zenner, that we shut down 41-17. I would love to see a similar result this Saturday.

Every game is their own, and I thought YSU's D looked stout in the middle, and apparently they have two very good DE's that could pressure GG from both sides. YSU's O-line looked solid, and their running back was able to run through some big holes and then use his elusiveness to get past the second level. I think if our D can stop the run, we will win. If we can't, then we need to be able to negate their pass rush, and still make plays down the field. This may be the best D we've faced. Maybe so, but we've faced some good ones, and have done well. I have been nothing short of impressed with the way this offensive line, and team overall have handled the defenses we've faced.

IMO, if the D continues to play at the level they have for the playoffs, we will win the whole thing.

The temps will rise on Saturday as the Pellini brothers volcano heads explode because EWU is not your typical patsy BSC team. EWU 35 YSU 21 in a game that isn't as close as it appears.

I wonder if Pelini is going to have another meltdown when we exploit their defense.

The whole thing is gold. And there are way more videos of meltdowns by their coach. The guy is a psycho.

I like what Baldwin said about people not coming out and waiting for Frisco. He said you all need to earn it, including the fans. Be in the moment.
Toughen up EWU fans and show up. Being there is way better! Could be sitting in Bozeman instead watching somebody else's team play!
Layer up and suck it up!
Good luck.

Semi-final game at home with an outstanding football team and great team leaders. This one just feels different. Perhaps, it was being able to see the team in person for the first two playoff games, but we have seen a maturation IN SPITE of the success on the field this season. Sometimes our own success has gotten in the way... Not this year.

The Eags face a quality opponent with a mindset that differs from the average person from the NW. If ever there was a team to face and win in a situation like this, it is this team.. So proud of the effort this season. Had this game at 38 -17 Eags. Nothing has changed my mind, show up Eagle Nation and help our players with your enthusiasm and single minded determination.

(plus I already booked a hotel in Frisco)
