Huge win in so many ways: defeating a ranked team on the road, shutting them out in the second half. Great job, congratulations Bengals!

So many studs yesterday: the freshman kicker making four field goals, Kidy Graves with 14 tackles and a pick, McFarland with the game saving interception, the two headed monster at RB, Dean with 130 yards...truly a team win.

Attended the ISU/UND game yesterday. Had a chance to drive around the campus and check out their facilities and such. They have a very nice indoor/outdoor athletic facility. Indoor has a full football field and track set up. I was most impressed by the hockey arena. Nicer than any arena I've seen including professional venues. I've heard $100+ million in this facility and it shows. Did a quick walk through their tailgate and these guys know how to do it! On par with FBS tailgates. As I was walking by one camp, a group of guys noticed my ISU shirt and gave me a warm welcome to their city. Had a few guys booing me walking through the arena, but was expected as it was a packed house and lots of students present with many drinks consumed. Game was intense, lots of ups and downs, but by far one of the sweetest wins I've witnessed in person. I'll give it to UND, but our boys silencing their 11k fans in their house during their homecoming couldn't have been any sweeter. Our 20 ISU fans were louder than all the fans in that building at the end of the game. Great job players, coaches and staff! Let's keep this going and play even harder against NAU this weekend!

Nice Recap. Glad you had a good time. How is your voice? North Dakota is Hockey First, everything else not so much. :thumb:

Let's put it this way, the marble in the foyers of the hockey arena are imported from Italy. JUST THE MARBLE cost 12 million. We've been given tours of it in the past, you're right, its better than some NHL arenas I've been in.

I understood from what Coach Troxel told us is that due to the fact that UND is in the Big 10 conference for Hockey that means that they HAVE TO GIVE EVERY athletic team they have at the university the cost of attendance stipend (on top of the full scholarship) to every athlete at the university. So they are able to give football players the cost of attendance stipend which obviously really helps there recruiting efforts against big sky schools and any other FCS team.

Great win against North Dakota, but I'm concerned about our remaining home conference schedule. Pretty tough home schedule, and we can't overlook Idaho next weekend.

Just FYI, UND is in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference, not the Big Ten.

They do give full cost of attendance scholarships but that was because North Dakota State did it first and UND had to in an effort to keep up with recruiting. By the way, for every home hockey game UND plays the athletic department generates one million dollars in total income...for every single home game.
