Last week ewueagle2010 hit the jackpot with most accurate prediction (sans coin flip) and his phone has lit up all week to get his picks. Everyone call your favorite European Psychic and lay it down in the thread below. You don't have to play if superstitious -- it's OK.

EWU wins coin flip.

EWU 45 -- Cal Poly 24

VA has good day early as CP struggles to match up with balanced attack. 14 for 17 3 TD's in first half 10.6 yds per completion. RB's gallop for 150+ first half on 20+ carries. (seems like a lot of plays after last week)

Vitto sees time second half and keeps it rolling. ;-)

I would be surprised in CP can hold the Eagles under 40 points and likewise if we can hold them in the 30's
Eagles 48
Mustangs 31

Eastern wears the pants of the Big Sky. Poly gets no cracker.

EWU 41
Poly 31

In all fairness though, much respect to the Mustangs. Great squad, great fan base. Cal Poly has everything to lose in this game. If they win out now, they have a winning record and save face against getting the crap end of the stick this season. Cal Poly will come out fired up. Will we?

Isn't it amazing that we live in an era where 75%+ completion rates are reasonably common among top-level QBs? I remember when it was damn near never that you'd see a guy complete 2/3 of his passes. Now we're seeing guys like Vernon go 16/18 (with a drop, no less). Granted, it helps when you have some receivers that adjust and catch so well.

Truly amazing. There may a little homer in my prediction, but the WR's and RB's have made this type of number possible as you point out. VA's feet, O Line play and WR/RB focus = AWESOME

Teams who's strengths are long drives with heavy rushing attacks aren't going to beat EWU this season. MSU ran into the same problem last week; if it takes a team 6-7 minutes to score, then good luck! Without being to cocky here, Poly has a better defense than MSU and this game is down in SLO, which is going to help the Mustangs.

I still think EWU is the cream of this conference this season, and I think we've finally hit our stride! :thumb:

Cal Poly- 17
EAGS- 35

Eastern's offense is truly at its best and has been getting better in every game since North Dakota. We have found a balanced offense in running and passing, and with VA's scrambling and big play ability, we will be just too much for ANY FCS right now, NDSU included, no disrespect to them at all. Eastern's defense is still a bend but don't break, but they feed off the offensive scoring and will shut down the Poly offense in the 2nd half as they did MSU.
The game will be close in the first half, but EWU 45- CPU31

Average prediction EWU 36 -- Cal Poly 25. No prediction has CP winning the game. Coin flips EWU 1 CP 0
I am predicting Cal Poly pulls the upset which refocuses EWU to make a run at another National Championship.

Cal Poly was by far the best addition to the Big Sky, its great having them in the conference, great school, great program.

As far as the game goes, I think EWU rolls. Our offense is unstoppable right now...

45 - 20

EWU picks up another National Championship...and kicks the crap out of the BareKats while doing it. Fans in San Luis Obispo pack Firestone Grill to celebrate....but this Saturday Cal Poly ensures that EWU does not become overconfident.

Cal Poly 31
EWU 28

In Overtime

Pulling for the upset but I'll be wearing red come playoff time :)

I think I can live with this scenario, except I want Cal Poly to beat the crap out of the BAREkats :)
