PREDICTOLOGY for fun

Pretty quiet (& glum)? OK for some fun? I must admit I dipped my toes in the purple floodwaters @ beginning of BB season & predicted, as I always do, the WILDCAT's W/L BSC record upcoming. Yeah, I came up with a much better purple power record than reality has dumped out so far. 5 correct/5 wrong guesses. (I'm usually much better on ave. with a 80-90 % correct rate.)

With 8 games left in the regular BSC season, here's my revised predictions (based on recent frustrating history):
@ISU = L
vs SUU = W
vs NAU = W
@ MSU = W
@ UM = L
vs ISU = W
vs UI = W
vs EWU = L
My crystal ball math says the Wildcats end up 9-9 in conf. May be wildly off or closely on. Care to play ? (no prizes except "I told you so" smack talk, (there's been plenty of that lately here!)) ;-)

I'll bite. AlumniWSU, you shouldn't beat yourself up too much. You were not alone in your predictions for this years team. There were a lot of us who were making similar predictions. I keep kicking myself. Last season I kept thinking, "who will provide the consistent offense for Weber next season, once Tres, Berry, and Richardson are gone." No matter...here we are.

Anyway...I think the Cats get swept in Montana, but win out at home. I also think Weber beats ISU this week. I guess that would mean the Cats would end up with 10 wins. .500+ is the goal.

Is the next prediction, who will be gone? :?

Just for kicks:

my only issue with the above is based on how the conf schedule has gone so far it seems like a long shot for us to win 4 straight especially with 2 away games. but this is the best part of our schedule so we have to do better than the first half. first half was tough and had all those away games.

10-8 should be 4th/5th place.

i dont care what place or seed we get. i just don't want a losing record! :oops:
