• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Preparations for BSC tournament...

The students are part of the final equation. They, as in the Athletic Department, knows how many students are at the games because students have to swipe their ID cards to get in. The final student tally is added to the remaining attendees. Unfortunately, the largest attended game by students this season was the USU game.

Its kinda dumb if a student doesn't go to games, they pay for them each semester when they pay their student fees.

Do you think there will actually be anything on campus telling students? I highly doubt it.

It really makes me sick knowing that my student fees are supporting the laziness of the student leaders on campus.

I'm glad that the Purple Pak does something, I'm sure they could do a lot more, but oh well. I've heard from others that they aren't organized, poorly led, and only do things to win a Crystal Crest. Thats pathetic, but compared to WSUSA they are a god-send. I think the university should take about $150 less from student fees and get rid of WSUSA. This has been by far the worst year that I've been a student.

Far to often I hear stories from friends about going to Utah football games or USU basketball games. Its like they have no idea that Weber has both of those programs, and unlike those other schools, competes in both sports.

I'd say the problem starts with the administration not holding their underlings accountable, specifically the advisors over the student leadership organizations. They do a piss poor job. Then the problem is the student leadership. There is absolutely no intiative. Finally the biggest problem which happens because of the previously mentioned problems is that students have no idea what is going on.

Personally, I can vouch for the PPAK. They have tried to do somethings this year. Still they are cursed with the same problems that afflict the rest of campus...APATHY! There is only so much that two guys can do.

Maybe purpleforlife is right. Has anyone seen anything on campus trying to get the student body excited?

I know that students can buy their game tickets in the union, but thats about the only thing I've seen or heard.

Oh, get your gameday/championship shirts in the bookstore for $5.
