PRP's & Workouts

Since there is very little else to write or read about does anybody have any news or insight into how the summer workouts are going and how the player run practices are doing. I was bummed that the 7 on 7 down at WSU was canceled. I think it would have been good for the boys to get a chance to compete against other teams. :notworthy:

I heard that the boy's went down to Moscow today to play 7 on 7 against Idaho after it got canceled Sunday.

I was told that they did very well against Idaho today and that Idaho was talking about coming up sometime around the end of the week or Sunday and playing on the Red. Idaho threw a lot of out routes into the flat but no real details other than that.

Very cool... if you find out a day/time for sure, let us know!

One of our DB's said last night that we handed the Vandals their lunch. Did it without Kaufman, Herd, and Edwards (I think).

To All Interested,
Spoke to Matt Johnson yesterday, he stated he think the 7 on 7 with Idaho, will be on Friday @ 3p.m. Roos Field)  Matt will be Coaching the Eagles on the Red Turf (Roos Field) :thumb:

Also, saw the work that is going on with Troy Kirby New Ticket Booth. It is being constructed by EWU Carpentry Shop. Vic Wallace

To All,
The 7 on 7 did not go. Idaho didn't show. I found out about 4:15pm from David Miles. He was there to play, when he entered the Locker Room, he was told the game was cancelled. So much for that. Vic

So the spud heads chickened out?

Why wouldn't Kaufman, Herd, or Edwards be participating in summer workouts? I know Kaufman might be recovering from the shoulder injury but what about the other two?

Hmmm.....so that's a little concerning. We're about 5 weeks out and our top 3 receivers haven't been participating in summer workouts?

A friend of mine talked to Coach Criner at U of I and I guess according to Criner they whooped up on WSU in a 7 on 7 game held there and the kids at U of I were talking about how good BLM is at QB for us.

Dozy/EWURanger,
Saw about 35 of our Players yesterday playing 7 on 7. They looked great. Your concerns about Greg Herd, Nick Edwards, Brandon kaufman. Kaufman is healing from the surgery he had after the Championship game. :thumb: :thumb:

Nick Edwards got married, however, they were all at the past 2 practices on Wednesdays. Some of the Recruits were at the practice yesterday. Cody Hecker, Cody McCarthy, Jordan Talley, Isaah Jenkings. I might have missed some of them. Jorday Talley looked good @ WR, everything Bo threw to him, he caught. :thumb: :thumb:

Hecker and McCarthy are two developed individuals. They looked like I used to in my younger days. ;). Once they are through in the Weight Room, they will be more developed, and hard to control in the games.

Great Readings on goeags.com, and Big Sky Web Site. The ranking, etc, are out. Come Thursday, July 28th, I will be feeding about 30 of our Players. Matt Johnson is handling who will come etc. It is always my pleasure to do anything I can to help our Athletes, providing it is honest. I will let Mr. Don Ross know, so we do not have any NCAA Violations. Mr. Ross is "Compliance Officer for EWU. p.s. Met the young man from St. Joseph yesterday. Seems like a great individual/fit for our program. He stated he really loves the Red Turf, even if he is playing BB, he also loves it here at EWU.Go Eagles. Vic

Vic;
Thanks for the update. I always enjoy reading your posts, they give me a warm smile in the AM. Looking forward to coming out to catch some practice sessions.
Go Eagles!!
