PRP's & Workouts

Cody Hecker was the prop RB from Idaho (state, not school) last year, right? Vic, do you think we might be using Talley as a slotback/Matt Szczur type of player? Thanks for the report, and I hope your back is doing well! :)

Cory Mitchell scored three Td's against UI. Guess they duidn't need the rest of the WR's. We are loaded at WR's.

As I've been saying since spring ball, we have the best receiving corps in the BSC and possible all of FCS. The combination of that depth at WR's, expereinced and savy QB, experience and depth on the line...scary bad offense!!
Go Eagles!!

Screaming_Eagle,
I don't know. I don't know who are Props. I taught they might have used "Cory Mitchell" as Slot Receiver last year. My guest is as good as yours. I don't want to say much about what is going on with the team. Last year I was accused of giving away plays for the team, when I mentioned on our blog, "Watch Jeff Minnerly", on the fake kick. I don't have much to say about that one Coach. IMO he thinks he walks on water.

It takes a lot to piss me off. Before I mention anything about the team, on this blog, I always check with the Head Coach.

Now that have been said, nothing will keep me from expressing my opinion, or backing our Athletes. They are a great bunch of men and women we have in our program, and their grades are "Outstanding".

I hope you have read Big Sky Web Site, and goeags.com. Great reading. I saw on big Sky, Sept. 3rd, 11, game against UW will be on ROOT (FSN). Go Eagles!!!!!. Vic

To All,
Forgot to mention, the team did 7 on 7 yesterday, I was impressed with the connection between Bo and his brother Cory. Everything that was thrown to Cory, he caught. He climbed the ladder for some high throws, and he pulled them in. :thumb: :thumb:

17 of the players were here today, they all ate to their hearts content. Honestly, I am glad this day is over with. I really enjoy feeding our Athletes, so much rushing, once it is over, you want to lay down and sleep.

Had couple ladies that came to assist me, they dished out our players meals, with very big grin on their faces, which was returned by the FB Players. ;) :thumb: One lady plays VB for us, with her roommate. The balance of the players were working some camps, and they missed a great meal. ;)

It will take me a few weeks to recoop before I do anymore meals.

HannahO, Grant did deliver the "hello" thank You. Take care. Vic Wallace

Noticed there are a few players missing from the current roster.......even some that participated in Spring Ball. The walk-on running back Marquise Moses is no longer on there.......also noticed Alante Wright isn't on the roster anymore. If I remember correctly he was our primary kick returner last season. Anyone know the full run down on who's not returning and why? There seem to be quite a few non-returners, along with an equal number of new-comers that I haven't heard of before.

Ranger, I don't have a complete rundown, but I believe that Alante Wright's scholie was not renewed ... no doubt the coaching staff believed that his skill set was redundant to the other WRs in his year group and he was on an out-of-state scholarship. It will be interesting to see how things shape up starting next week. All the locals will have to keep us informed on the board.

Thanks for the info. Gotta think there must have been a little more involved, though....I haven't ever heard of a kid getting his schollie pulled based only on field performance....could be wrong, though. Either way, wish those guys the best.
