PSU @ CSUS - Guess the Score

Who would have guessed at the beginning to the 2010 season that this game might be our most difficult BSC game?

PSU - 40
CSUS - 37

I always hope the Vikings will become a seriously good team. I just see this season as another training year. Another, another year gone by. Will it be a building year? I surely hope so. It just tries one's heart & hustle to be disappointed emotionally again and again. Look at how good our old D-II Championship opponent Troy (State) has become. PSU should be at least as good as they've become. Look how good the big sky teams are becoming. Our program keeps spinning its wheels in the mud delaying, ever delaying, going no where special. Arise, sluggard, arise. The source of the problem needs to be found out and eliminated first thing in the morning. It amazes me how PSU's program continues to be so schizoidal, without identity. When will PSU football be good, whole and healthy again, of the winning way of life?

Seems like Portland State has always had Sac States's number. Sac has probably only won 5 games in the series that goes back for decades. Can't remember Sac State ever winning two in a row against PSU. Sac State's 3 BSC defeats to EWU, MSU and Montana have come by a total of 10 points. This is easily the best Sac State team in 10 years. And this with handfuls of key starters injured for the year in the first two games

The school is officially named CSUS but for branding it's Sacramento State.
The school is not referred to anymore in the media, by the local community, students, etc. as CSUS.

Here's to a good, injury free game at Hornet Stadium on Sat.

We have won the last two match-ups. A win this weekend will make it 3 straight.

LOL SD, we've got long memories. You'll have to forgive us thinking about that very long string of Sac defeats. I can see why you'd only want to think about the last two seasons. We just want to forget them and anything about the Glanville era. You might win this one - we're coming up off the bottom, and it takes time. Rain's coming in up here - hope the weather's good. It'll be a fun game.

Yes, I was a student during the Moosh era. It took a lot of booze to wash those horrid memories away.
